My Staple Natural Hair Products for my 4c Hair

Hey lovelies, I wanted to share with you my most consistent hair products that I have been using since I went natural, plus some new ones I have added to my hair regimen. On Instagram a lot of you have asked me so here they are.

Shampoo

For shampooing I use the "Palmers conditioning shampoo". I love this shampoo because it does not leave my hair dry after wash. It is sulphates and parabens free. It also helps clear my scalp from product build up. Lastly it makes my hair feel really soft without the use of conditioner.

Conditioner

This is my all-time favourite  the "Tresemme Naturals conditioner". I have been using this since 2013 consistently, It leaves my hair very soft after use. It has a lot of slip and serves as a good detangler, it can also be used as the base for a DIY deep conditioner.

Leave-in-conditioner

I have been using the "Cantu Shea butter leave in conditioner" since forever,  its very affordable and does well for my 4c low porosity dry hair. It always leaves my hair feeling soft plus it smells so good. I use this on my hair for LCO method to apply moisture to my strands after wash.

Cream

For moisturizer I use the "Shea moisture curl & style milk or curl enhancing smoothie". They both work really well with my hair. I use the curl enhancing smoothie when I want to do a braid out/twist out. I'm sucker for the smell of these products.

New products
I recently just incorporated the Aunt Jackies flax seed  recipe "seal it up butter and defining curl whip" to my products stash. I love the butter because it's so light and does not cause build up on my hair or weigh it down. I recently started using it a  substitute for moisturizing my hair. The defining cream is also a good product my hair, it gets my twists and braid out really defined.
