D.I.Y Deep Conditioner Treatment For Dry Damaged Natural Hair

Hey beautiful people, the current climate in Abuja hasn't been good for my hair. The harmattan has left my hair brittle and dry. I decided to make this deep conditioner treatment that moisturizes and strengthens my hair. I'm very familiar with the natural products I used for this conditioner. They have many amazing benefits for your tresses. Please do try it share your results.

You will need:

2tbs Shea Butter 

2tbs Cantu Deep Treatment Masque 


2tbs Olive Oil

2tbs Castor Oil

Tea Tree Oil (5-7 drops)

Glycerin (vegetable)




Shea butter acts as a moisturizer for natural hair, it helps to lock in moisture in your strands without weighing your hair down.Shea butter contains vitamin A and E which help to repair breakage, split ends on damaged hair.It helps to remove dandruff, eczema and also soothe itchy scalp.

Mayonnaise contains hair ingredients like lemon juice, eggs, vinegar and soybean oil. It restores dry damaged hair and reduces breakage. Mayonnaise conditions your hair and enhances the hair's texture.

Glycerin is a humectant, it helps your hair retain moisture and restores its natural PH balance.

Honey is also a humectant, which attracts and holds water from the atmosphere. It softens hair and retains moisture.

Olive oil penetrates the hair and conditions it. It contains vitamin E, Fatty acids which promote hair growth.

Castor Oil promotes hair growth.

Tea Tree Oil helps to get rid of dry scalp and itchiness. It also promotes growth in the hair by unclogging the hair follicles.
